Why doesn't my state show any data yet?

We're building GeoNaija's content zone by zone, verifying every fact before it goes live, rather than filling states with placeholder information. Check the States page for current progress — it updates as more states are completed.

Where does the information come from?

Every fact is individually researched and verified — governors, population figures, resources, and history. State boundaries come from geoBoundaries.org, and the base map from OpenStreetMap.

How often is the information updated?

We revisit and correct information as things change — for example, when a governor's status changes. If you spot something outdated, please let us know via Contact.

Is this an official Nigerian government website?

No — GeoNaija is an independent platform, not affiliated with the Nigerian government.

I found an error — how do I report it?
